Description

KYB Excel-G are twin-tube gas shock absorbers, struts, and cartridges for all car and light commercial vehicle makes. This technology is used in approximately 85% of new cars. The patented KYB valve combined with the use of pressurized nitrogen gas in the Excel-G range allows the car to restore its original suspension performance, and improves the performance of vehicles originally equipped with oil shocks.

Shock absorbers are a critical safety component; they keep your tires in contact with the road, allowing you to steer and stop safely. Shock absorbers must always be fitted in pairs. It is recommended by OEM suppliers such as KYB to replace them from 80,000 km and to always replace the strut mounts and protection kits at the same time.

It is strongly recommended to replace the suspension mounts when changing shock absorbers. Indeed, the rubber suspension mounts are subjected to high pressure and movement. They wear out very quickly and must be disassembled to change a shock absorber.
