The Duraterm metal glow plug is a consistent success in terms of reliability and service life. The integrated control filament speeds up the warm-up phase.

Reliable starting behavior at low temperatures and starts in approximately 4 seconds

Reduction in noise development known as "cold start knocking".

During the glow phase, the glow plug continues to glow for up to three minutes to counteract annoying knocking during cold starts.
