Service performed following an engine start-up issue.

Customer report: machine stopped the previous day, impossible to restart the next morning, with no fault appearing on the dashboard.

Complete diagnostic performed: inspection of essential engine start-up sensors, verification of the fuel supply and the wiring harness.

After analysis, a malfunction was identified in the variable geometry turbocharger (VGT), which was stuck in the closed position.

This blockage prevented exhaust gas evacuation, causing backpressure and preventing the engine from starting.

No work was performed on the turbo, as it is still under warranty.

The customer was informed and advised to seek coverage from the supplier who performed the turbo replacement.
