Intervention performed on a heavy goods vehicle following a braking issue.

Brake system diagnostic performed.

Findings: brake linings heavily worn on the shoes, as well as defective brake drums.

Removal of brake drums and brake shoes.

Dismantling of old linings.

Installation of new linings on shoes with new fasteners.

Reassembly of brake shoes.

Replacement of brake drums.

Reassembly of the entire braking system.

Return to service and check of proper braking operation.
